Watoto Church Opens Up On Members’ Health

Watoto Church has once again come out to clarify on the health of all their members who tested positive of COVID19 upon arrival from United Kingdom.

Pastor Julius Rwotlonyo the Associate team leader of Watoto in a statement on Thursday said all the fourteen members who had tested positive have been discharged from hospital after recovering and are currently under self-isolation.

“The members of the choir who tested negative for Coronavirus are nearing the end of self-isolation period before they are united with their families after completing quarantine and self-isolation period.”

On the 22 choir members who returned from Canada, Rwotlonyo said all were negative and have been united with their families after successfully completing their quarantine and self-isolation period.

“All the children, mothers and staff of Watoto remain unexposed to the virus and are safe and healthy.”

Rwotlonyo also appreciated the role played by the government through ministry of health in prevention of the COVID19 pandemic and called upon all Ugandans to continue observing all preventive measures in place.

The fourteen members of Watoto choir are part of the forty-five COVID 19 recovery cases so far registered in the country.
