LIST: Police Shakes Up Forensic Officers

Uganda Police Force has made changes in its forensic department in the latest shake up.

The shakeup was made countrywide and it targeted mainly scene of crime officers (SOCOs) in all the policing regions.

In the process, a total of 338 officers were transferred while others were appointed and deployed in different parts of the country.

The development comes at a time Ugandans are seeking robust action to roll back a wave of criminality across the country.

The changes which targeted ranks of sergeant, Police constables and corporals were made by ACP Emanuel Muheirwe from the Directorate of Human Resources and takes immediate effect.
