Coronavirus: Rwanda in Lockdown as Inland Transport is Restricted

The government of Rwanda is enforcing a lockdown after cases of Coronavirus rose to 17 on Friday.

Kigali on Saturday announced new measures to counter the spread of Coronavirus, including blocking “unnecessary movements and visits outside homes except for essential services such as healthcare, food shopping or banking…”

Authorities also ordered all employees (public and private) to work from home except for those providing essential services.
