Jumia Boss Ron Kawamara ‘Harvests’ Gen Elly Tumwine’s Daughter In Pompous Wedding Ceremony

Ron Kawamara, the CEO Jumia Uganda married Cynthia Tumwine, a daughter to General Elly Tumwine and the Public Relations manager Jumia yesterday.

The wedding which took place at St. John’s Cathedral Church in Fort Portal town and was attended  by many dignitaries including the queen mother of Tooro, King Oyo, Prime Minister, Dr Ruhakana Rugunda among others.

Dr Rugunda tweeted about the wedding saying, “With  @KingOyoOfficial, we had a good reunion with old& new friends at the wedding of the daughter of Gen Elly Tumwine’s daughter, Cynthia, to Ron Kawamara in Fort Portal today. I represented HE Kaguta Museveni who urged the young couple to work hard, communicate well & trust God.”

Cynthia formerly worked Urban TV and XFM as a music show presenter when she met her now husband.
