Guards Rescue Man From Committing Suicide On City Building

Security guards at Totalia and French Plaza located at former Caltex Petrol station in Nakivubo have this morning rescued an unidentified man who attempted to commit suicide by jumping from the top floor  of the plaza.

According to eyewitnesses, this man had spent more than thirty minutes on the balcony of the last floor of French Plaza threatening to jump.

Down below, according to eyewitnesses, some people were cheering him, encouraging him to jump.

“The people were asking him to jump but as he tried, he looked fearful and went back until the guards found him,” one told ChimpReports.

The suicidal man was dressed in dirty clothes and appeared to have mental illness.

After being rescued business in the area has returned to normal but efforts to get his identity and reasons why he tried to end his life were futile.
