People Power Unveils DP’s Kidandala, Mukaku as Part of Mobilization Committee

The opposition pressure group People Power led by Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi commonly known as Bobi Wine on Tuesday unveiled 2 senior members of the Democratic Party (DP) as part of its coordination and mobilization committee as well as Election Management Committee.

DP’s National organizing Secretary Sulaiman Kidandala and Samuel Lubega Mukaku- who announced that he would contest against DP President Nobert Mao to hold DP flag in the 2021 election were unveiled to the public by Bobi Wine at People Power offices in Kamwokya on Tuesday.

The People Power spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi announced that the coordination and mobilization committee will work together with People Power coordinators countrywide to support the process of ground mobilization while election management committee will steer preparations for elections at all levels.

“Today we unveiled two critical teams to aid a number of processes going forward. The coordination and mobilization committee will work together with our coordinators countrywide to support them in the process of doing ground mobilization and furtherance of our structure building. The election management committee will steer our preparation for elections at all levels,” Ssenyonyi announced.

Coordination and Mobilization Committee

This will be led by Sulaiman Kidandala.

Other members on the committee include Kennedy Olum, Faridah Nabatanzi, Jimmy Oluka, and Julian Kabagambe.

Election Management Committee

This will be led by Mercy Walukamba.

Other members on the committee include; Samuel Lubega Mukaku, John Mary Sebuwufu, Grace Asiimwe, General Oyek, Harris Akampurira, Margaret Rujumba, Peter Maiso, Alex Lwanyaga, Musa Misango, and Jeremiah Keeya Mwanje.
