Wars At Wakiso Giants; Mbabazi Clashes With Darlings Of The Team And As A Result He Has Been Told To Step Aside
Charles Livingstone Mbabazi who replaced Kefa Kisala at Wakiso Giants has been told to step aside of his duties.
Wakiso Giants lost the first game in the second round against Police Fc 2-1 at Kabala Kyabaggu stadium, lost 1-0 to the Mbarara City at Bombo, won Onduparaka 1-0, drew goalless with Bul and lost recently to Tooro United.
It is alleged that Mbabazi has not been in good terms with some of the senior players at the club hence benching them match in and out.
Wakiso Giants management has politely asked Mbabazi to step aside for the best four matches that include; MYDA(home), Maroons(home), Kyetume Fc(home) and Busoga United(away) meaning he is expected back in office against Vipers Sc at Kabala Kyabaggu stadium.
Mbabazi joined Wakiso Giants on 29th November 2020 when he decided to resign at Onduparaka over being not paid his salary.
Mbabazi has previously coached Brightstars, Lweza, Masavu, URA and Somalia national team as well as being one if the assistant coaches at the national team.
Wakiso Giants’ next game will be against MYDA in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 on Tuesday at the Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium, Wakiso.
