Kaddu Fails At Berkane Of Morocco Switches To Egypt’s Ismaily On Loan

Uganda Cranes striker Patrick Henry Kaddu has joined Egyptian side Ismaily Sports Club on loan from Renaissance Sportive Berkane of Morocco.

Kaddu will turn out for the Egyptian side until the end of the season with an option to buy should he impress.

In Morocco, Kaddu has struggled with form since his arrival on a four year contract from KCCA Fc. His loan move was a result of the arrival of the veteran striker Mouhssine Lajour early this year.

He now joins other Ugandan players playing from Egypt who include Emmanuel Okwi(Ittihad Alexandria), Abdul Lumala(Pyramids Fc), Khalid Aucho(Misr El Makasa), Derrick Nsibambi(Smouha), Allan Kyambadde(El Gounah) and Tadeo Lwanga(Tanta Fc).

The former KCCA Fc player is remembered for scoring that only goal against CapeVerde that sent Uganda Cranes to the 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations.

He also scored Uganda’s first goal in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations 2-0 win over DRC.

His new home Ismaily Sports Club are three time Egyptian league champions who host their games at the Ismailia stadium.

They are currently 7th on the league table with 21 points accumulated from 15 games.
