I ‘ll Keep Prophesying – Mbonye

Despite a number of hurdles this year, including a face-to-face with law enforcement authorities, Pastor Elvis Mbonye of the Zoe Fellowship Ministries has vowed to keep doing his church work.

Addressing journalists in Kampala, Alice Namaganda a communication official from Zoe Ministry said Mbonye intends to kick off 2020 with prophesies of what will shape the new year.

“Business people will be told about the most profitable ventures of the year where they can invest their money, politicians and people from all spheres of life will get prophecy on how they will walk through the whole year,” she said.

Despite the doubts amongst some Ugandans, Namaganda says this time everyone will have chance to evaluate for themselves.

Speaking on the law suit that Mbonye recently filed against government for improper investigations, Namaganda revealed that so far a third affidavit has been filed by Collins Tugumisirize a city businessman to support Mbonye’s application.

In this affidavit filed at High Court on Monday 23rd December through Walyemera and company advocates, Tugumisirize says that his pastor is a law abiding citizen and the whole process which he was subjected to, portrayed him as a criminal which affected his reputation.

Mbonye sued The Police’s Director for CID AIGP Grace Akullo and other officers seeking Shs 1billion in compensation.

On 28th October, Mbonye was summoned and did appear at the CID headquarters in Kibuli to answer charges spreading false information about the mass Rubella and Measles immunization campaign.

At CID, he denied the accusations by presenting a list of all his social media platforms under Prophet Elvis Mbonye on top of denying the Facebook account of Elvis Mugisha Mbonye on which the information was published.
