Breaking: Med Kaggwa, UHRC boss, is dead

The chairperson of the Uganda Human Rights Commission, Med Kaggwa, is dead after being involved in an accident on his way to work this morning. The accident is said to have happened near Mulago. According to an eye-witness, the accident did not appear to be serious but he came off badly. He was driven to Case Hospital where doctors tried to save his life but to no avail. His wife, we are told, has rushed to the hospital.
