Midfielder Jackson Nunda Puts Ink to Paper at URA FC

Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) has officially confirmed the signing of former KCCA FC midfielder Jackson Nunda.

Nunda joins the Tax Collectors as a free agent on a three-year deal and will stay at the Nakawa based club until the climax of 2022/2023 season.

Nunda has been a free agent since partying ways with KCCA FC following expiry of his contract after last season.

“I chose URA because it’s an ambitious team and I love the competitiveness in the club. Of course, I don’t expect it to be a walk in the park as I have to compete for a place in the team. I am here to win trophies and give 100% for my new home, URA FC,” Nunda told the club website.

He becomes the first official player to be unveiled by URA FC in this transfer window and will face competition from Saidi Kyeyune and Shafik Kagimu in the middle of the park.

The club has also reportedly agreed terms with Proline’s Musitafa Mujuzi, David Owori and left back Arafat Galiwango.
