Goalkeeper Senkooto Becomes SC Villa’s Fourth Signing
16-time Uganda Premier League Champions Sports Club Villa has confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Martin Senkooto, becoming their fourth recruit for the transfer window.
The 23-year old shot stopper joins the Jogoos on a three-year contract that will keep him at Namboole until the end of the 2022/23 season.
In a press release issued by the club on Tuesday, Senkooto was delighted to witness his dream come true.
“I am very delighted to join this great club. Together with the rest of the team. We have an opportunity to show the world that we are the finest in the land. Joining SC Villa is every player’s dream and I am happy that my dream has come true,” said goalkeeper Senkooto.
He started his career at Super Cubs SA and joins SC Villa from Makerere University Business School (MUBS) that features in the Pepsi University Football League.
The Jogoos have already signed defender Andrew Kiwanuka, goalkeeper Meddie Kibirige and midfielder Geoffrey Goffin Oyirwoth.
