Microsoft Flight is slated to release its latest version of Flight Simulator that is predicted to revolutionize the gaming world.

The Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, officials announced, will be out on August 18th for PC.

It is the latest installment in the hyper-detailed series that has been running since the 1980s.

The 2020 version follows the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator X which came out in 2014.

While announcing the release date, Microsoft revealed that that the game will be available in three editions namely, Standard, Deluxe and Premium Deluxe Editions.

The Standard edition which is the cheapest, will have 30 highly detailed airports.

For those that wish to go for Deluxe and Premium deluxe, the airports will be improved to 35 and 40 respectively.

Among the handcrafted airports is Uganda’s Entebbe International Airports which will be available in all three versions.

Entebbe is one of just three airports that have been included from the African continent, the other two being Cairo and Cape Town International Airports.

The latest game includes a new day and night engine that allows players to fly at any time of day as well as a new checklist system that scales for beginners or pro players with instrument guidance and checklists before takeoff. Microsoft Flight Simulator also includes real-time weather, live traffic, and animals throughout its living world.

Airports like San Francisco or London’s Heathrow airport are locked behind the premium edition, while Chicago’s O’Hare airport and Amsterdam’s Schiphol are available in the deluxe version.
