Three Thugs Arrested in City Break-in

The Central Police Station (CPS) Kampala patrol team has arrested three thugs as they attempted to break into a shop along Ben Kiwanuka street in Kampala city centre.

The suspects were identified as Abasa alias Duplicate, Gerald Sande and Nyeso Magisibo.

The thugs police say were found with knives, suspected narcotic drugs and breaking implements upon search.

Police established that one of them, Sande was previously charged with robbery in Court last year and remanded to Luzira prison.

“Investigations are still ongoing and the trio will be arraigned before a Court of law after consulting with State Attorney on the preferred charges,” Police said in a statement.
