Kaddu Finally Gets His First Goal
Ismaily SC 1-1 El Gouna
Uganda Cranes forward Patrick Henry Kaddu opened his account for Ismaily after scoring in their 1-1 draw with Allan Kyambadde’s El Gouna in the Egyptian Premier League on Monday.
The former KCCA talisman, on loan from Moroccan side, RS Berkane was on his full debut since joining the club.
The maiden goal came as Ahmed Madbouly laid a fine cross from the right wing that met Kaddu well positioned to pock home a beauty resorting to his trade mark “Monkey” dance in celebrations at the corner flag.
Kaddu would have scored a brace but his goal in the 54th minute was ruled offside after a VAR intervention.
However, Kaddu’s 73rd minute volley was not enough to bag all the three points for his employers as Walter Bwalya cancelled his goal.
Allan Kyambadde, who is also a former KCCA forward, started the match before being substituted in the 46th minute.
Kaddu will be anxious to add to his tally when Ismaily visit Raja Casablanca in the second leg of the Arab Club championship at Mohamed V Stadium.
Ismaily with a 1-0 first leg advantage will only need a draw in the return leg which will be played under closed doors due to Corona virus threat.
In the league, Kaddu’s Ismaily is positioned in ninth on the log with 22 points.
