Ten man Busoga United beat URA Fc in a Startimes Uganda Premier League game played at the Mighty Arena in Jinja.

Douglas Muganga was sent off by referee William Oloya after a second bookable offence and this made the Busoga United technical bench protest the decision.

Busoga United Fc players remained calm even after their plater was sent off till when they scored in the second half with goals coming from David Bagoole, Nelson Mandela and Lawrence Tezikya who sealed it 3-0.

URA’s goalkeeper Alionzi Nafian and midfielder Michael Birungi got off the pitch during the first half due to injuries and Samuel Mwaka came in goal as a substitute.

Saidi Kyeyune and Cromwell Rwothomio managed to get goal attempts but were denied by Busoga United’s goalkeeper Ali Kimera.

This is the first loss of URA Fc in 2020 and remain fourth with 34 points after 22 games whereas Busoga United moved to fifth with 33 points after sealing their 10th win of the season.

Busoga United’s next game with face Maroons at Luzira Prisons Grounds on Friday whereas URA Fc will host Vipers on the same day at the Arena of Visions, Ndejje University.
