Mbabazi Quits The Caterpillars, Set To Re-Join The Ankole Lions

Former Onduparaka Fc coach Livingstone Mbabazi is set to be renamed Mbarara City Fc coach.

The former Onduparaka tactician is expected to have thrown in a towel at the Arua based club that has struggled financially of recent thus breaching his employment contract.

Last month that is October, Mbabazi was seen with Mbarara City club president Hon. Mwine Mpaka in a meeting they held at Kati Kati restaurant around Lugogo bypass and it is believed that the deal could have been reached.

Mbabazi left Mbarara City last season, terminating his contract that still had a one year running.

The Ankole Lions recently parted ways with Headcoach Paul Nkata who had replaced Brian Ssenyondo after a sting of poor results.

Mbabazi in his first spell at Mbarara City Fc

The Uganda Cranes assistant coach whose contract was due to expire in 2021 joined the West Nile side earlier this year from Mbarara City fc and has managed all his former side’s first round matches picking up 23 points.

Galaxyfm.co.ug has confirmed that Livingstone Mbabazi owed Onduparaka fc six months of unpaid wages exceeding 50 million Uganda Shillings which tantamounts to the breach of contract by the club hence prompting the journeyman to step down.

A move to Mbarara City would see Mbabazi coach the Kakyeka based side for a second time.
