UPL: Kayiwa Delighted With First Goal At Vipers
Vipers SC midfielder Allan Kayiwa was left thrilled after opening his scoring account as a Venom.
The former Tooro FC player was on target when the Venoms edged past BUL FC on Tuesday to secure a 2-1 win in the game played at St. Mary’s stadium.
Kayiwa struck home from a free kick to double the lead before the visitors pulled one back through Deogratious.
“Thanks to God, l scored my first goal in the Vipers jersey. I’ve worked hard to experience moments like this, and l also want to thank my teammates. I did feel some fatigue but we worked hard as a team and am happy with the performance,” Kayiwa happily said.

Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye had given Vipers the lead, heading home from Bobos Byaruhanga’s corner kick delivery in the 21st minute.
“Scoring two early goals helped us a lot, and we did well in terms of approaching the match in the right way and getting the result that we wanted. The team mates are working hard and we have to keep pushing ourselves to achieve our targets this season,” he added.
Kayiwa who joined us from Tooro United FC at the start of the season has been a key player for Vipers in the games played so far.
Vipers’ next assignment will be a visit to Green Light Stadium on Saturday October 26 to take on Onduparaka FC in Arua.
