Tooro United Lure Towering Striker Ojara
Following their relegation to the FUFA Big League, Tooro United are now back on the drawing board and intensifying preps for regaining their top flight status.
The Fortportal based club has acquired the services of former St Mary’s Secondary School student Dennis Ojara.
Ojara joins Tooro United on a three-year deal and becomes the club’s seventh signing of the window.
He was part of the St Mary’s SS team that lifted the 2019 Copa Coca Cola Schools tournament in Jinja after defeating hosts Jinja SS 3-1 at Kakindu Stadium, Jinja.
Ojara also featured on the same team that won the 2019 East Africa Secondary Schools football championship in Tanzania.
The striker also had stints at Lower division clubs including Lugazi Municipal and Friends Football Club in the Buganda regional league.
He has also played for Bugerere and Mawokota Ssaza teams in the Buganda Masaza Cup tournament.
Other players that have so far joined Tooro United are Mark Nsubuga, Allan Sserunga, Adrian Sserugo, midfielder Abdallah Bogere goalkeeper Ronald Waiswa and left back Ponsiano Ssegonja.
