Former KCC FC Club Patron, Al Hajji Nasser Ntege Ssebagala Passes On

The former mayor of the capital city of Kampala as well as the patron of KCC FC Al Hajji Nasser Ntege Ssebagala has passed on while getting treatment at International Hospital Kampala in  Namuwongo.

On 7th September 2020, Al Hajji Nasser Ntege Ssebagala fell in his home in Munyonyo, he was rushed to IHK hospital in Namuwongo-Muyenga with abdominal complications. At IHK he was diagnosed with intestinal intussusception, a condition in which one segment of intestine inverts with another, causing an intestinal blockage.

He was subjected to an emergency surgery which was successful performed by Dr. Kiyingi, but did not recover well and therefore he was put on supporting machines to get enough Oxygen before he was pronounced dead.

During his reign as KCC patron, the club managed to achieve some success. KCC FC won their eighth super league title after 11 years of waiting, it is from his regime that players were put on monthly salary payrolls depending on their role on the team.

Al Hajji Nasser Ntege Ssebagala was born on 15th November 1947 and he has died at the age of 72 years. RIP SEYA.
