Gor Mahia Football Club new signing Tito Okello has promised to lift his new team to greater heights after his unveiling on Wednesday.
The dreadlocked towering striker Okello has officially signed a two-year deal with the K’Ongalos and will stay at the club until 2021/2022 season.
Moments after putting ink to dotted lines, the lanky forward could not hide his delight over joining the continental giants and hopes to have a chance of showcasing his abilities.
“I’m delighted to be here and so pleased that I will have a chance to show what I can do. Gor Mahia is a big club on the continent and it’s every player’s dream to play for this Club,” Okello noted.
He added, “I am looking forward to working with the club management, technical team, and my fellow teammates, and the great fans of the club.”
The former KCCA FC and Benifica de Macau striker was among the long list of Vipers departures whose tenure at St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende hit a dead end.
He becomes the latest Ugandan to feature for the Kenyan Premier League giants after Erisa Sekisambu, Dan Sserunkuma, Juma Balinya, Shafik Batambuze among others.
