Godfrey Lwesibawa Returns to Express FC

Six-time Uganda Premier League Champions Express Football Club are at it again after confirming their sixth signing in winger Godfrey Lwesibawa.

The 24 year old speed merchant rejoins Express on a two-year contract from relegated side Tooro United and will stay at Wankulukuku until 2021/2022 season.

“I am so happy to rejoin the club and the ambitions couldn’t be any different, we all want to win the league a feat we can all achieve if we work as a unit,” Lwesibawa told the club website on Tuesday.

He Returns to the Red Eagles for the second stint having previously featured for the side between 2013-2016 managing 8 goals and 25 assists in as many appearances before his departure for rivals SC Villa.

He joins five other signings in goalkeepers Cryspus Kusiima and Denis Otim alongside centre back Richard Bbosa, creative midfielder Abel Eturude and forward Mustafa Kiragga.
