Former Vipers Goalkeeper Unveiled at Police

2005 Uganda Premier League Champions Police FC have confirmed the signing of former Vipers Sports Club goalkeeper, Derrick Ochan.

The youthful custodian joins the Cops on a one-year deal taking him through the forthcoming 2020/2021 season.

He becomes the third goalkeeper to join Police FC after Sammon Okola and Tom Ikara, all hoping to feel the void left by Davis Mutebi who moved for BUL FC.

“I feel very happy and I’m also happy to say that I’m proud to be here. I need to work hard, give in more to serve this club wholeheartedly and deliver for it,” Ochan said after his unveiling.

Last season, Ochan featured for Vipers SC and was understudy to Burundian import Fabien Mutombora before being deemed surplus to requirement at Kitende.

Besides the new faces in Ikara and Oloka, Ochan joins midfielder Tonny Mawejje, Left back Eric Ssenjobe, defender Hassan Mahmood, Arnold Sembuya, and Muwada Mawejje as the other recruits.
