Bright Anukani Enthused About KCCA Move

Creative midfielder Bright Anukani was officially unveiled as the fifth KCCA Football Club signing of this transfer window.

Anukani who joined KCCA FC on a season long loan move from relegated side Proline Football Club was unveiled via the club’s Sunday night sports show on Sanyuka TV.

The 19-year old sensation felt upbeat after signing for the Uganda Premier League giants and he can’t wait to work under coach Mike Mutebi.

“I’m so happy about joining KCCA FC because it’s a big club which every player wants to play for and I am happy to be here and I expect to have a great season ahead,” said Anukani.

He added, “I want to play in the CAF competitions because they will improve a lot on my career and my target is to reach the CAF Confederation Cup groups because we failed to reach there last season with Proline.”

Anukani helped Proline win a double in the 2018/2019 season after triumphing in the Stanbic Uganda Cup and the FUFA Big League.

The midfielder also guided Uganda Cranes to CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup victory last year in a tournament that was hosted at Lugogo, scoring three goals in five games.

He becomes the fifth recruit for the Kasassiro Boys after Italian Stefan Loro Mazengo, Ashiraf Mugume, Charles Lwanga and Dennis Iguma.
