Players Abroad: Lubega on Target Again as Paide Wins Away From Home

Uganda Cranes forward Idrisa Lubega Torres was in action over the weekend and scored again for his Paide Linnameeskond as they overcame Tammeka Tartu 0-2 in the Estonian top-flight league on Sunday.

Lubega’s goal came after 26 minutes before he was replaced by Joseph Saliste in the 70th minute. Sergei Mosinikov scored the other goal on the 47th minute mark.

This is Lubega’s third goal in Estonia’s mestrilliga league and the victory took Paide to Nine points from Six matches played.

Still in Estonia, Moses Oloya featured for 67 minutes in Ha Noi FC’s 3-0 victory over Hong Anh Gia Lai at Hang Day Stadium.

Elsewhere, Joseph Mpande captained Hai Phong in their goalless draw with table leaders Ho Chi Minh in Vietnamese V League on Saturday. The draw put Hai Phong on Five points placed in the 6th position.

In Denmark, Moses Opondo came on as a second half substitute and played the last ten minutes as his team OB Odense defeated Esbjerg 3-1 at home in the Superliga.

In Israel, former KCCA captain, Timothy Awany played the whole 90 minutes in Ashdod’s 3-0 defeat to Ironi Kiryat Shmona while Kizito William Luwagga played the last 30 minutes as his Hapoel Kfar Saba pipped Hapoel Ranana in the relegation playoffs on Saturday.

In Denmark, Robert Kakeeto came on as a substitute in the 68th minute as his side, Aalborg lost 3-2 to AGF Aarhus in the Danish superliga on Sunday.
