Kyadondo Unveils George Lutalo as New Head Coach
Uganda Revenue Authority FC assistant coach, George William Lutalo has been unveiled as the new tactician for the 2008 Masaza Cup winners Kyadondo.
Lutalo who deputizes Sam Ssimbwa at the Tax collectors in the UPL replaces Paul Kiwanuka who was at the helm of the team last season.
The newly confirmed coach has previously coached Soana FC (now Tooro United) and Jinja Municipal Council. He also featured for Police FC as a player.
Last year, Kyadondo narrowly won their second championship only to end their adventure in the classification match. They defeated Buddu 2-1 at Namboole to finish 3rd.
Currently, 17 teams have already confirmed coaches for the 15th Cup edition with Bugerere remaining as the only team yet to appoint a tactician.
Confirmed tacticians include; Buddu (Steven Bogere), Mawokota (Richard Malinga), Kyaggwe (Hussein Mbalangu), Bulemeezi (Simon Peter Mugerwa), Butambala (Emuron Recoba), Gomba (Ibrahim Kirya), Kooki (Sadiq Ssempigi), Mawogola (Simon Ddungu), Bululi (Noah Mugerwa), Busiro (Paul Kiwanuka), Buvuma (Ifan Akoba), Ssingo (Edward Golola), Kabula (Paddy Kakande), Buwekula (Robert Kafeero), Mawogola (Simon Ddungu), Buluri (Noah Mugerwa) and Ssese (Hamid Kibirango).
The 2020 Masaza Cup tournament will kick off next month only if the current lockdown restrictions are lifted.
