Six Critically Injured by Karamojong Cattle Rustlers in Agago
Six farmers are currently nursing serious injuries after they were reportedly attacked with arrows by Karamojong Cattle rustlers in Agago district.
The attack took place in the night of 10th April and was reported at Paimol Police station.
The 6 men who were injured have been identified as Richard Okidi 22, James Otto 42, Philip Odera 46 years, Santos Anywar 48, Amos Okot 37 and Joseph Omona 32, all residents of Paimol sub-county in Agago district.
The victims were shot with arrows and some are in critical condition.
They were reportedly guarding their cattle in the night when they were attacked
One unidentified Karamonjong cattle rustler was killed in the fight that ensued and his body burnt beyond recognition.
The Aswa region Police Spokesman Jimmy Patrick Okema says police visited the scene and investigations are underway.
