Kabale Hospital Receives Government Relief Food
Kabale Regional Referral Hospital has received up to 17.4 tons of maize flour and milk from the Office of the Prime Minister to help patients at the hospital during the Covid19 lockdown.
The food was on Monday handed over to hospital director Dr Sophie Namasope by the Kabale RDC Darius Nandinda at the hospital.
Dr Namasope says the food is to be given to pregnant mothers and children at the hospital who come from the districts of Kabale, Rukiga, Rubanda, Kisoro, Kanungu, Rukungiri and Ntungamo.
The RDC asked the hospital to hand out food even to the patients that are being discharged so that they have something to eat when they get home.
