Uganda Coronavirus Cases Rise to 23
The confirmed cases of COVID 19 in Uganda continue to rise.
According to the tweet made by the Minister of Health Dr Jane Ruth Aceng on Friday night, 5 new cases have been confirmed bringing the total number of cases in the country to 23.
“Out of 227 samples tested today, 222 tested negative for COVID 19 while 5 tested positive for COVID 19. The total number of confirmed cases of COVID 19 is now 23,” said Aceng on Twitter.
“Ugandans, please embrace our guidelines and preventive measures. We can prevent the spread of COVID 19 together,” she added.
Public transport has been suspended and schools locked to prevent further spread of the virus.
