Kitara Region Confirmed Hosts for 2020 Uganda Cup Finals 

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has confirmed that Kitara Region will host this year’s FUFA Women’s Cup and Stanbic Uganda Cup finals.

FUFA confirmed to the media in a press release, that Kitara districts of Masindi and Fortportal will host the Men and Women’s Cup finals respectively.

Currently, Kataka FC, Kitara, KCCA FC, Light SS, and defending champions Proline have already booked their tickets for the Cup quarter-finals with more clubs awaiting to join them.

Top flight teams Mbarara City, URA FC, Sports Club Villa and Wakiso Giants are yet to know the dates for their respective rescheduled round of 16 fixtures.

Last year’s cup finals were hosted in Buganda region with the Stanbic Uganda Cup in Masaka where Proline emerged victors after a 5-4 penalty shootout triumph over Bright Stars.

StarTimes Stadium hosted the 2019 FUFA Women’s Cup final where Makerere University stunned Lady Doves 2-0 to clinch the crown at Lugogo.
