Bebe Cool Attack: Muhoozi Demands Action

Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has slammed the Uganda Police Force for standing by as revellers hurled projectiles as singer Moses Ssali (Bebe Cool) during a weekend music performance.

Bebe Cool was once again a victim of an angry crowd, which demanded he leaves the moment he stepped on stage.

This was on Saturday night during Cindy’s Boom Party at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

With dozens of bottles of water and some glass bottles flying onto the stage, Bebe Cool stuck around and continued to perfume while ducking the projectiles

Amid widespread condemnation of the attack on social media, First Son Gen Muhoozi chimed in Monday morning, attacking the Police’s inaction.

“How could (Uganda Police) and the bouncers at Cindy’s Concert allow a few hooligans to hurl bottles at one of Uganda’s greatest artists??,” he wondered.

“The same hooligans beat up women (on Women’s Day) for simply loving (President Yoweri Museveni) and Bebe Cool. We expect a lot better next time from Police.”

An open NRM supporter and nemesis of People Power’s Robert Kyagulanyi, Bebe Cool has lately suffered rejection and violent attacks from supporters of the Kyadondo East MP.
