Semujju Brace Humbles Former Paymasters

BUL 2-1 SC Villa:

BUL Football Club ended their winless streak after a 2-1 win against Sports Club Villa in the Uganda Premier League match played on Sunday in Jinja.

The former Jogoo player who joined BUL FC in the January transfer window scored in his second successive game for the Jinja outfits. He also scored in their 3-1 loss to Proline.

Ronald Magwaali gave SC Villa an early lead when he headed in a Yayo Lutimba cross after 24 minutes at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

In the 37th minute, Semujju met a loose ball from Nicholas Kabonge to draw matters on the level setting up a 1-1 halftime score.

With nine minutes to play, Semujju returned on the score sheet and deservingly won the Pilsner man of the match taking home Shs 100,000.

BUL earned their 9th victory of the season in 23 games taking them to 32 points as they leapfrog Onduparaka from the 6th position.

Sports Club Villa remained on 40 points in the 3rd position, ten adrift of table leaders Vipers Sports Club.
