Queen Of Katwe Teen Actress Nikita Succumbs To Cancer
Cerebrated Actress Nikita Pearl Waligwa who acted as Gloria in the Movie Queen of Katwe which featured Kenya’s Lupita Nyo’ngo has been confirmed dead this morning.
Nikita succumbed to brain cancer on Saturday night at TMR International Hospital in Naalya in the capital Kampala. She was diagnosed with the killer disease in 2016 and fundraising drives to save her life have been going on over time.
And impressed by her role in the movie Queen of Katwe, many Ugandans mobilized funds for her treatment in India however it’s reported after successful operation, Nikita got another brain tumor in 2019 at the same spot she had it in 2016.
According to her family, the deceased was experiencing excruciating pain and doctors say the tumor was centered at the sensitive part ofNikita’s brain responsible for movement of limps, eye sight and speak.
Condolence messages for her demise continue to pour on social media for the teenager actor who had even stopped schooling at Gayaza High School due to pain
