“The district Engineering department is reviewing the artistic impression for the museum, and the construction shall begin thereafter” she said.
The museum will also serve as an exhibition center from where locals will showcase their cultural dances, cultural foods and attire.
John Sempebwa, who is also the proprietor of Semagulu Museum in Kampala says in the first phase of the project; they will collect artifacts, molding and construct over 50 sculptures.
“The Second phase shall encompass setting up another state of art museum bigger and better than many other museums”.
He also added that a building has already been allocated at the district headquarters and it will house the artifacts, monuments and other tourism information materials.
“It will be an exhibition of Ssese’s rich culture right from the Bachwezi dynasty up to date.”
