Stanbic Uganda Cup: We Are Prepared For CATDA FC – Mutebi
KCCA FC head coach Mike Mutebi has said that his charges are ready and prepared for their Stanbic Uganda Cup encounter against CATDA FC.
The two sides will lock horns at the round of 64 at the StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo on Friday evening.
“We are ready for CATDA FC. Most of the players are available and we shall select the best team for the task at hand,” Mutebi said before adding.
“We want to win the Uganda Cup and that means we have to show intent from word go. We will give it our best and we hope we can overcome the opponents and progress.”
“No team in this competition is a push over and we expect our opponents to come and give us hard time but we shall do everything possible to win the tie and progress to the next round,” he added.
Skipper Charles Lukwago has recovered from illness and is likely to be part of the match day squad while Julius Poloto, Sadat Anaku, Ali Mwirusi, and Kizza Mustafa had their licensing issues sorted and are available for selection.
Muzamiru Mutyaba and Jurua Hassan are ruled out due to injury together with Sadam Juma and Jackson Nunda.
Keziron Kizito, Eric Ssenjobe, and Simon Serunkuma are also ruled out of Friday’s encounter.
