All The Way From Busoga To Morocco, God Is Omni-Present. Madondo Signs For Wydad Casablanca
Moroccan big spenders Wydad Casablanca have signed Busoga United striker Joel Madondo.
Madondo has put pen to paper on a three and a half year contract with the Moroccan record champions.
The Uganda Cranes forward was signed to fill the gap left by Ayoub Khabi who returned to Hebei Fortune in China after his loan spell expired in Wydad Casablanca.
Joel Madondo now the former Busoga United striker scored in the CECAFA senior challenge cup final as Uganda Cranes humbled Eritrea 3-0 in Kampala to win the championship for a 15th time.
Madondo as well represented Uganda on the U-23 level. He is a former student at St. Mary’s Kitende and becomes the other Ugandan to play for Wydad Casablanca after Murushid Jjuuko.
