“In our term, if we happen to leave without a stadium built, we will have done nothing so building a CAF approved stadium is our main priority” Martin added.

Midway last year, KCCA launched a five year strategic plan at the dinner held at Golden Tulip hotel in Kampala and among the points on the agenda was to construct a stadium for the club.

In an event held by then the KCCA Executive Director Jennifer Musisi Semakula, it was revealed that shs.55B will be put a side for what was projected to be a state of the art 7000 seater.

Since then, it is not known when the ground breaking ceremony will be held, but it is expected that the available Startimes stadium is the one which is going to be renovated and expanded.

Ssekajja also talked about the club’s transfer system and identity, “we want to hold our identity as a string club, the players, coaches, fans and the administrators, KCCA Fc has to be a different club compared to otbers”.

Martin Ssekajja also emphasized on the discipline of the KCCA Fans which has been key and that has always identified them from other clubs because things do not always  come to their side but the fans are always with them therefore things should be kept running in their regime.

On the possibility of Lugogo hosting night games, Ssekajja commented that they are doing everything possible in their means to acquire CAF standard lights.

He also pointed at the possibility of connecting Wifi at the Startimes Stadium so that fans can easily access internet.

Martin Ssekajja is the new chairman for the defending champions KCCA Football club who replaced Aggrey Ashaba demoted  to the vice chairman.
