Copa Africa U-16: Uganda’s 16-Man Squad Confirmed
The Uganda’s 16-man squad that will participate in the Copa Africa U-16 has been confirmed by the country’s football governing body FUFA.
This is the second edition of the under 16 Africa Copa Coca Cola Cup of Nation tournament and it will be held at Mpesa Academy foundation in Thika from December 2nd to 5th 2019 in Kenya.
12 countries including Uganda will feature at the annual youth fiesta where the president of Kenya H.E Uhuru Kenyatta will grace the opening ceremony of the three day event.
The Uganda select team that has been selected by the FUFA U-17 Technical team and has been camping at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru for a week prior to the tournament.
The team is totally dominated by the players that won the CECAFA U-15 Championship in Eritrea this year with 14 players who played.
The Ugandan team will travel on Friday December 29th 2019 to Kenya. Uganda is placed in group C with Namibia and Ethiopia.

Group C: Ethiopia, Namibia, Uganda
Group D: Burkina Faso, Angola, Botswana
