“I Had Already Resigned”, Bbosa Reveals Reasons For Stepping Down At Tooro United

Hours after Tooro United’s 3-0 defeat to Onduparaka in Arua, Wasswa Bbosa confirmed that he officially stepped down from his job as the club Headcoach.

Julius Malingumu, Gadinho Adinho and Gaddafi Wahab scored Onduparaka’s three goals as Wasswa Bbosa registered his first league loss at Green Light stadium.

The former sports club Villa and Express tactician revealed the reason for his resignation in tge post match conference.

“I came here when i had already resigned because the things have not been going on well at club” Bbosa confirmed.

This season the tactician has managed three wins, one draw and six losses in the ten games he has managed this season.

“The performance of my team has not been well because the players traveled today yet we had to play the game on the same day. A lot has been going on wrongly at club because of a change in management. The team is not training well, then we traveled a long distance of seven hours from Kampala to Arua on the match day. The players have not been paid for three months. Basically, a lot has not been going on well”

Tooro United recently changed management after the sale of 49% shares to Sperito Sesanga by then sole owner Smart Obed.

The club will temporarily be under the tutelage of Eric Ndifuna who has been serving as Bbosa’s immediate deputy.

Bbosa guided Tooro United to a fourth place finish last season which is the club’s best finish since elevation to the top flight in 2013 under the identity of Soana Fc.

Bbosa leaves them 12th on the Uganda Premier League table with 10 points accumulated from 10 games.

“There is too much arrogance, disrespectful and bossy act from the new owners who pretend to more than anyone including the technical field. Players live uncomfortably on lies running three months of no pay” Wasswa Bbosa revealed.

The CAF B licensed coach signed a one year contract in July this year to run the club for the whole of this season having registered great success when it was fully still under the ownership of Smart Obedi.
