Mutyaba becomes ninth player to officially quit KCCA

As already expected, KCCA have made an official announcement confirming the exit of Muzamiru Mutyaba.

The attacking midfielder officially ends his five year tenure at Lugogo after opting not to extend his time at the club.

His departure was confirmed by the club PRO Moses Magero on the weekly club TV Show on Sanyuka TV on Sunday.

During his stay at the club, he has won three league titles, two Uganda Cups, a couple of Super Cups and the Pilsner Super Eight.

Mutyaba was also part of the historic squad that helped the club reach both the Caf Champions League and Confederations Cup group stages.

His departure brings the total of players to have left Lugogo to nine, as many as the new signings so far.

He joins Erisa Ssekisambu, Jackson Nunda (URA), Saddam Juma, Tom Ikara (Police), Eric Ssenjobe (Police), Jamil Malyamungu, Mike Mutyaba (retired) and Mustafa Kizza (Montreal Impact).

The club has so far confirmed the acquisition of Juma Balinya (Gor Mahia), Bright Anukani (Proline), Samson Kigozi (Police), Brian Aheebwa (Mbarara City), Denis Iguma (Free Agent), Stefano Mazzengo Loro (Free Agent), Charles Lwanga (SC Villa) and Ashraf Mugume (Vipers SC).

The other player is Dominic Ayella who was promoted from the KCCA Junior Team.

The club will also soon unveil left back Moses Kalanzi and Ismail Mugulusi who already signed deals at the club while midfielder Nicholas Kasozi is rumoured to be out of the club.
