Museveni Covid19 Address Rescheduled

State House have once again postponed the long awaited presidential address on Covid19.

The address according to Don Wanyama the president’s Senior Press Secretary, has been moved by a day from tomorrow Saturday to Sunday September 20th.

President Museveni last addressed the nation on the virus nearly 2 months ago on July 21st.

Back then Uganda had recorded only 5 Covid19 deaths. Today the death toll has reached 58 while the cases exceed 5100.

Among other issues, President Museveni is expected to address on Sunday is whether or not schools and places of worship which have been closed for 6months can reopen.

The Education Ministry had recently put out a schedule for the partial reopening of school starting next week.
