Lubega Named in Estonia Meistrilliga Team of the Month
Workaholic Uganda Cranes striker Edrisa Lubega “Torres” is seemingly living on cloud Nine in Estonia.
Following his stellar performance in the Estonia Meistrilliga for Paide Linnameskond in August, the Cranes center forward Lubega has been named on the team of the month.
In the previous month of August, Lubega featured in five league games for Paide Linnameskond scoring six goals.
Lubega’s goals came in the form of braces against JK Legion and Tallinna as well as single scoring tallies against Kuressare and Tamekka.
On the scorers’ chart, Lubega sits in the second place with 12 goals from 18 matches, lagging 7 behind leading scorer Flora’s Sappien.
Lubega and his 2nd positioned Paide Linameskond return to League action on Saturday afternoon as they play away to 5th placed Tulevik.
