Back in the Game: Kitatta Vows to Crush Violent Opposition

Former Boda Boda 2010 patron Hajji Abdullah Kitatta, who was recently released from military jail has vowed to to return to the streets to physically take on opposition politicians.

Kitatta sounded the warning just after he returned to his position as the NRM Chairperson for Rubaga Division.

Addressing party members at their office on Thursday, Kitatta said he was ready to crush opposition politicians and even those in the NRM party who plan to disrupt today ‘s party primaries.

“Those who think that they will come and sabotage the electoral process whether from in or outside the party kindly stay away and avoid embarrassment,” he said

Kitatta further called on NRM members not to fight one another because the party primaries will end but they will still need each other after thereafter.

Kitatta was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of fire arms and was sentenced to 8 years in Jail by Makindye General court martial

However, he served the sentence for a period of about three years and later the court of appeal for the Court martial reduced his sentence which was later calculated and it was established that he had already served it.
