Kabale NGO Boss, Wife Perish in Accident
Two people have perished and one escaped with severe injuries following an accident along the Kabale-Kisoro road.
Elly Maate the Kigezi regional police Spokesman identified the victims as Hillary Namanya, 38, and his wife Natukunda Barbra aged 35.
Namanya has been the director of Rukundo International, a Community Based Organization in Kabale while his wife Natukunda was the Academic Registrar at African International Christian Ministry Vocational College.
The third passenger, one Guhirwa Rachael survived the accident and was taken to Mutolere Hospital.
The deceased according to Maate, were accompanying their friend Guhirwa to Kisoro where she was to have her wedding with Nelson Yumvirusaba.
They were travelling in a Toyota Mark II Number UAG 044 M.
But on reaching Kagano, Maate says the vehicle lost control and veered off the road killing the couple as it rolled in the valley.

He says that the bodies of the deceased have been taken to kisoro hospital mortuary for post mortem as Guhirwa was first admitted at St. Francis Mutolere hospital and later reffered to Mbarara regional referral hospital .
