Jadon Sancho Has Been Involved In 55 League Goals Since August 2018; Borussia Dortmund Hosts Schalke O4 As The Bundesliga Returns

Bundesliga rules have allowed five substitutes during games, a move that has been praised by Borussia Dortmund coach Lucian Fevre.

Dortmund captain Marco Reus remains on the sidelines with a thigh injury while midfield pair Emre Can and Axel Witsel are also set to miss out. The duo are expected to be replaced in the middle by Julian Brandt and Thomas Delany respectively.

Defender Dan-Axel Zagadou is also a doubt with a knee injury. The 20-year-old has featured 13 times this season in the league.

Schalke have a near fully fit squad with only defenders Ozan Kabak(back) and Benjamin Stambouli(metatarsal) as well as midfielder Omar Mascarell(groin) absent.

Midfielder Amine Harit looks set to return to the side. The 22-year-old was on the bench during Shalke O4’s 1-1 draw with Hoffenheim back in March. The Moroccan hit the ground running at the beginning of the season and has six goals and four assists to his name, although nkne of those have come in his last nine appearances.

Jadon Sancho has involved in 55 league goals since August 2018; Only Messi, Mpappe and Lewandowski have been involved in more within the top five leagues in this period.
