Mitina Kampala Arcades Football Tournament Returns
The exciting Mitina Kampala Arcades Football Tournament are set to officially return, big and better this August.
This year’s (seventh) edition organized by Mitina Sports Association Limited is anticipated to attract a total of 48 teams/ Arcades that will vie for championship.
Unlike the previous editions, the 2020 tournament will be graced by two scouting agents from Oulu, Finland, attracting Mega sponsorship packages.
Moses Lubega, the founder of the Arcades football Tournament told ChimpReports that he aims at building a stronger foundation through this annual event and highlighted the forthcoming edition expectations.
“I expect to build a stronger Foundation through the Mitina Kampala Arcades football Tournament and also aim at marketing our setup and exposing it to some local and international agents. I will boost our set-up and Football talent in Uganda and the players ofcourse will not remain the same,” said Lubega.
The Seventh edition will officially kick off in the month of August as confirmed by the organizing committee with the date yet to be determined.
According to Lubega, the 2018 final was not held citing business engagements abroad that required his attendance, leading to further cancellation of any 2019 action.
The previous season’s final (also not yet played) will see Admin FC take on Masjid Noor while Mukwano Mall plays Kawunyemu in the classification game. Both games will be played at Lukuli playground.
