Man’s Body Found Decomposing in Girlfriend’s House

A 40-year-old man has been discovered dead in his girlfriend’s house in Kangondo ward, Mparo Town Council in Rukiga District.

The deceased, Wilson Turyasingura, an area resident was discovered in the house of Gloria Niimwenzaki, 43, in Kangondo Upper cell, in the same Town council.

The Chairperson Health and Education Committee in Rukiga District Eddy Mugisha told our reporter that the deceased was discovered last evening by cattle keepers who were grazing nearby and caught the stench.

The deceased had gone missing for nearly a month according to locals.

Mugisha adds that the body was found in the bathroom inside the house wrapped in a polythene bag covered with concrete, which pointed to a murder.

The girlfriend, who is the key suspect is believed to be on the run because the house was found locked.

By the time of filing the story, police were at the scene waiting for a doctor to carry out post-mortem.
