Vipers On Pressure, Bul Hosts The Venoms At Njeru Technical Center

Vipers want to silence all their critics by putting up a five point advantage when they play against Bul away in Jinja at the Njeru Technical Center.

KCCA Fc who are seeming to be challenging for the Startimes Uganda Premier League table got a narrow 2-1 win over Maroons at Lugogo earlier this week to close the gap with two points difference.

Vipers first loss to Bul was back in the 2013-14 Uganda Premier League season when the cooking oil manufacturers defeated them 2-1 at Kakindu stadium

“Everybody who goes to play Bul in Njeru knows that they will get a difficult game. That is why we want to focus on being at our clinical best because Bul is a game where you want to take the points and consolidate the league lead.” Vipers head coach Kajoba stated.

If Vipers wins the game, it will go to 49 points from 21 matches with just nine matches left in the campaign with the next match facing their closest rivals on the table which is KCCA Fc.

For the visitors, they are to welcome back defender Bashir Asiku after recovering from an ankle problem he picked last month during a training session.
