Police Bust Naked Notorious Gangster From The Ruthless Hands Of An Angry Mob

It was a Dramatic scene to watch on Monday morning when Police in Kampala Metropolitan finally nabbed a serial criminal after rescuing him from the rough hands of an angry mob.

The grave robber who looked like a weary chicken had been pounded half-naked by locals to near death before police whisked him off.

Henry Kasirye, 23, a heavily loaded suspected criminal has for the past five months been at large in connection to multiple criminal acts including Aggravated Robbery, simple robbery, and threatening violence. Four pending files of robbery are at Lusaze police station including others at various police posts and stations in Rubaga Division last year.

Luke Owoyesigyire, the Deputy Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, says Kasirye and his accomplice on the run were infamous for posts on social media indicating that they are proud of their criminal acts and not scared of anyone.

For long Kasirye disguised as a casual laborer in Lusaze until police realized his gang and arrested him, he was however released shortly.

Locals from nearby villages including Lugala, Lubya, Munaku, and Kosovo say Kasirye had become a nuisance.

Police have charged him with aggravated robbery and threatening violence against the suspect.
