New Year: Man 27, Hit by Stray Bullet in Mulago
Medics at St. Francis Hospital in Nsambya, Kampala are attending to a lad who was accidentally shot on New Year’s Eve.
Roland Agaba, 27, was struck by a stray bullet in Mulago Township.
Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS) publicist Irene Nakasiita told ChimpReports on January 1, 2020 that Agaba “was shot in the stomach near Pastor Samuel Kakande’s church.”
She added: “Referral has been made to Nsambya.”
The source of the bullet is yet to be established.
Agaba’s intestines were sticking out when URCS came to his rescue.
He was wheeled into an ambulance which evacuated him quickly to Nsambya.
Medics were seen dressing the gunshot wound to stop bleeding and leakage of intestinal contents into the abdomen.
